The LAUNDRe for LIFe Foundation® is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C. dedicated to restoring dignity and expanding opportunity through the power of clean clothing.

We recognize that poverty isn’t always visible—and that hygiene poverty is one of the most overlooked crises impacting low-income families, students, returning citizens, and the unhoused. Lack of laundry access is the hidden part of hygiene poverty. Our mission is to highlight and meet these needs with compassion, innovation, and sustainable solutions.

By providing increased access and equity to laundry services for DC residents facing hardship, our program is designed to uplift, empower, and create lasting change.
