Oh us? We’re just community members who realized something simple but powerful: laundry isn’t just about washing clothes—it’s about health, dignity, access, improved school and work attendance, confidence, employment readiness, stability and mental health.

We’ve seen what happens when people don’t have clean clothes—missed school days, lost job opportunities, and deepening cycles of hardship. So, we decided to do something about it.

We’re neighbors, nurses, advocates, and everyday folks working together to make sure that no one in our community has to choose between a meal and a load of laundry.

What We Do:

• Help provide access to laundry services for DC residents facing hardship.

• Long-Term Growth: Empowering individuals through access to hygiene products to help combat hygiene poverty across DC.

Why It Matters:

Laundry isn’t just a weekly chore; it’s a universal necessity. For many, it’s inaccessible and reflects broader challenges like homelessness, unemployment, and health crises.

Many incredible organizations provide clothing to underserved communities. We aim to ensure those generous donations stay in excellent condition to continue to uplift those in need and keep the cycle of giving strong!
